Come join Sidewalk Detroit for a fantastic winter celebration at Eliza Howell Park! Get ready to embrace the chilly weather and have a blast with friends and family. This in-person event will take place on Saturday, February 24, 2024, starting at 1:00 PM (Eastern Standard Time).

Winter Fest at Eliza Howell Park offers an array of outdoor activities and entertainment for all ages. Warm up by the crackling bonfire while savoring delicious hot chocolate and roasted marshmallows, Bring your sled and slide down the new sledding hill. Join in friendly snowball fights or take a walk through the enchanting woods for a scavenger hunt.

Earth Day River Clean Up April 20, 2024, 10am-2pm

Join Sidewalk Detroit to celebrate Earth Day by showing the Rouge River a little love! Adult participants will have the option to wade into the river (waders provided) to pull out trash, and volunteers of all ages will help haul the trash to the road and begin cleaning it for an exciting community built art installation led by local artist Halima Cassells (more details on the River Art to come!).
